This is a video for teachers. Duty of care is something that’s applicable to all schools and all teachers. It means that they have a particular duty towards their students to ensure that where possible, they are safe, supported, medical attention is provided if necessary, and that there are policies and procedures in place to deal with and prevent bullying, including cyberbullying.

Sexting or sending a nude image is something that has been around for a long time. As soon as mobile phones had cameras on them, people decided it would be a good idea to share sexualised images to their intimate partners. And as a consenting adult, other than the fact that the image may be leaked or it might be used to blackmail you, it’s not a crime.
