State parliament has legislated penalties – including fines and jail time – for anyone who sends explicit images of a former partner… but are they enough?

“What I think people need to understand is laws alone don’t fix any problem,” cyber expert Susan McLean tells FIVEaa…

“There’s always going to be someone who commits a crime.

“I think what it does is send a message to a community that this behaviour is considered criminal… and hopefully that will be a deterrent. But it needs to be backed up by comprehensive education.”
